[1]Added to NRHP: November 28, 2003 Monarch Diner is a historic diner at 246 Appleton Street in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The diner was built in 1940 by Worcester Lunch Car Company and was originally located in Waltham, Massachusetts before it was moved to Lowell in the early 1950s. The diner was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.[1]
It operates in Lowell today as Four Sister's Owl Diner.
