The population was 305 at the 2010 census.[1] It is an upscale bedroom community of Fargo, located about 15 miles to the south.
Geography
Oxbow is located at 46°40′28″N 96°48′13″W / 46.67444°N 96.80361°W (46.674309, -96.803634)[4].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2), all of it land.
Demographics

The population density was 609.5 people per square mile (233.5/km²). There were 84 housing units at an average density of 206.5 per square mile (79.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.60% White, and 0.40% from two or more races.
There were 83 households out of which 51.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 89.2% were married couples living together, and 8.4% were non-families. 6.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.99 and the average family size was 3.11.
In the city the population was spread out with 31.5% under the age of 18, 4.0% from 18 to 24, 34.7% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 5.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 106.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 112.5 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $88,700, and the median income for a family was $92,211. Males had a median income of $61,667 versus $29,583 for females. The per capita income for the city was $35,207. About 1.3% of families and 2.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen and 30.0% of those sixty five or over.
