Prairie Rose is a city in Cass County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 68 at the 2000 census. The town is an enclave suburb of Fargo. Prairie Rose was founded in 1975.

Geography

Prairie Rose is located at coor dms|46|48|59|N|96|50|8|W|city (46.816298, -96.835532)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.1 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 68 people, 20 households, and 19 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,253.2 people per square mile (525.1/km²). There were 20 housing units at an average density of 368.6/sq mi (154.4/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.

There were 20 households out of which 65.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 95.0% were married couples living together, and 5.0% were non-families. 5.0% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.40 and the average family size was 3.53.

In the city the population was spread out with 35.3% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 32.4% from 45 to 64, . The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 100.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.0 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $75,000, and the median income for a family was $75,000. Males had a median income of $41,786 versus $25,000 for females. The per capita income for the city was $22,334. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
