New Light Township (also designated Township 14) is one of twenty townships within Wake County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, New Light Township had a population of 4,708, an 82.8% increase over 1990, and a population density of 0.15 people per acre (37/km²).

New Light Township, occupying 32,064 acres (130 km²) north of Falls Lake at the northern trip of Wake County, is the only Wake County township which contains no portions of any incorporated municipalities.
