Cedar Fork Township, Wake County, North Carolina

Cedar Fork Township (also designated Township 5) is one of twenty townships within Wake County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, Cedar Fork Township had a population of 10,911, a 309.6% increase over 1990, and a population density of 0.37 people per acre (91/km²).

Cedar Fork Township, occupying 29,376 acres (119 km²) in northwestern Wake County, includes the entirely of the town of Morrisville, portions of Cary, Raleigh, and the Research Triangle Park, as well as the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

The southeastern portion of Triangle Township in Durham County that borders Wake County was originally a separate Durham township also named Cedar Fork.
