Buckhorn Township (also designated Township 3) is one of twenty townships within Wake County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, Buckhorn Township had a population of 2,160, a 30.8% increase over 1990, and a population density of 0.09 people per acre (22/km²).

Buckhorn Township, occupying 22,848 acres (92 km²) in southwestern Wake County, includes small portions of the towns of Apex and Holly Springs.
