The Chamberlin Hotel is a historic hotel in Hampton, Virginia, overlooking Hampton Roads at Old Point Comfort. It sits on historic Fort Monroe and overlooks Fort Wool. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it has been renovated from its former life as a hotel into a high-dollar luxury retirement community for folks over 55. The first two floors will retain the "hotel" atmosphere and will be used as guest quarters for visiting relatives of residents, while the rest of the floors have been gutted and turned into two-bedroom apartments.
