[1]Added to NRHP: September 27, 1985 Orvis Road Historic District is a historic district between Massachusetts Ave., Freeman, Randolph and Newcomb Streets on Orvis Road in Arlington, Massachusetts. The district contains 25 residences built circa 1920-1930 as part of a unified development plan. Houses include bungalows and two-family homes. Orvis Road itself includes a grassy median area planted with oak and maple trees. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
