Rocky Hill is in Edmonson County, but that Octagon Cottage is in Barren instead is suggested by its mention, perhaps only in listing at end, in the Barren County Multiple Resource Area document.[2]
It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[1]
