Dokiparru is a village in the Krishna District, Andra Pradesh, India.
Highly rich with farmers and in producing Rice, Black-gram and other crops. Milk production is very high in this village. The population is around 5000.The nearest towns are Gudlavalleru (5 km), Pamarru (10 km), Gudiwada (12 km), Machilipatnam (20 km), Vijayawada (48 km).
Two government hospitals with separate buildings for human and veterinary are there in the village which were donated by Lady Landlords.
More than ten temples of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Lord Vinayaka, Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman, Masjid and Churches are also there in the village.
The climate is typical tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. The proximity to Bay of Bengal is the reason for the high humidity in the village.
New drinking water purifying system is established in the village by donating the land and building in the name of late Vellanki Kutumba Rao and Mrs Purnachandrasekhari by their sons Lakshmana Rao and Purnachandra Rao, their grandsons Sobhan Kumar, Ratna Kumar, Vamsi Krishna(USA), UmaShankar, Jayaram(USA) grand daughter Srimani(USA) Polavarapu Ravindrababu recently retired as a cooperative bank manager which was established first in Gudlavalleru was educated in Dokiparru highSchool.He is a good farmer of Dokiparru village.
