Râciu — Commune — Coordinates: 46°41′N 24°24′E / 46.683°N 24.4°E Country Romania County Mureş County Population (2002)[1] 3,752 Time zone EET (UTC+2) – Summer (DST) EEST (UTC+3) Râciu (Hungarian: Mezőrücs, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈmɛzøːrytʃ]) is a commune in Mureş County, Romania composed of fifteen villages: Căciulata, Coasta Mare, Cotorinau, Cureţe, Hagău, Leniş, Nima Râciului, Obârşie, Pârâu Crucii, Râciu, Sânmărtinu de Câmpie, Ulieş, Valea Sânmărtinului, Valea Seacă and Valea Ulieşului. It has a population of 3,752: 90% Romanians, 4% Hungarians and 6% Roma.
