Fântânele (Hungarian: Gyulakuta; Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈɟulɒkutɒ]) is a commune in Mureş County, Romania composed of six villages:

• Bordoşiu / Bordos
• Călimăneşti / Kelementelke
• Cibu / Csöb
• Fântânele
• Roua / Rava
• Viforoasa / Havadtő

Demographics

The commune has a Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 census it has a population of 5,067 of which 93.72% or 4,749 are Hungarian.
