United States House of Representatives elections in Illinois, 2008

The 2008 congressional elections in Illinois will be held on November 4, 2008 to determine who will represent the state of Illinois in the United States House of Representatives. Illinois has nineteen seats in the House, apportioned according to the 2000 United States Census. Representatives are elected for two-year terms; those elected will serve in the 111th Congress from January 3, 2009 until January 3, 2011. The election coincides with the 2008 U.S. presidential election.

The General Primary Election was held February 5, 2008. The last day to register to vote in it was January 8, 2008. Grace Period Registration and Voting ran from January 9, 2008 through January 22, 2008. Early Voting ran from January 14, 2008 through January 31, 2008.

The General Election will be held November 4, 2008. The last day to register to vote in it is October 7, 2008. Grace Period Registration and Voting runs from October 8, 2008 through October 21, 2008. Early Voting runs from October 14, 2008 through October 30, 2008.
