Mahilpur is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Hoshiarpur district in the Indian state Punjab. It is situated on Hoshiarpur Chandigarh Road 23 kilometres (14 mi) from Hoshiarpur. It is famous for the game of football in the region.

As of 2001^[update] India census,^[1] Mahilpur had a population of 10,019. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.
