Boundaries
Following their review of parliamentary representation in Derbyshire, the Boundary Commission for England created a Mid Derbyshire seat. Neighbouring seats have had consequential boundary changes, with Erewash and Amber Valley two of the most affected.
The electoral wards used in the new constituency are:
- From Amber Valley Borough Council: Belper Central; Belper East; Belper North; Belper South; Duffield.
- From Derby City Council: Allestree; Oakwood; Spondon.
- From Erewash Borough Council: Little Eaton and Breadsall; Ockbrook and Borrowash; Stanley; West Hallam and Dale Abbey.
