Broxtowe constituency is a suburban constituency located inNottinghamshire , to the west of the city ofNottingham ,almost identical in character to the seat ofGedling to the east of Nottingham.The boundaries are the same as those ofBroxtowe Borough Council, with the exception of the wards ofBrinsley , Eastwood East, Eastwood North and Eastwood South. The original Broxtowe also contained the towns ofHucknall andKirkby in Ashfield , but not Beeston, which then was part of the Beeston constituency.Boundary review
