The 2010 Minnesota state auditor election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 to elect the next Minnesota State Auditor, who will serve a four-year term to begin in January 2011. The primary elections will be held August 10, 2010. Incumbent State Auditor Rebecca Otto of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party is seeking re-election after her first term in office. She is being challenged by former State Auditor Patricia Anderson, who lost to Otto in 2006.

Incumbent Rebecca Otto won endorsement at the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party convention. She faces no opposition in her party's primary.[1]

Former State Auditor Patricia Anderson earned the endorsement of the Republican party at its state convention. She faces no opposition in her party's primary.[2]
Independence Party
The Independence Party of Minnesota has not fielded a candidate for state auditor.[3]
Third-Party Candidates
Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Member Annie Young will run as the Green Party candidate for State Auditor. Kenny Kalligher will stand for election on the Grassroots Party line[4]
