Architectural style: Early Commercial Governing body: Private NRHP Reference#: 93000614[1] Added to NRHP: August 26, 1993 The Masonic Temple, also known as Masonic Temple-Watts, Ritter, Wholesale Drygoods Company Building and River Towers, is a historic commercial building located at 1100-1108 E. Third Ave., in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia. It was built in 1914, and is a seven story, brick building in the Early Commercial style. The building is constructed of steel-reinforced concrete with yellow and orange brick facing and white terra cotta trim. A five story annex was built on the east side of the original building in 1922. Two additional stories were added to the annex in 1926. It originally housed a large wholesale business and Huntington Lodge #53 of the Masons. The Watts, Ritter Company occupied the building until the firm's closing in 1959.[2]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.[1]
