(Geoffroy, 1844)The long-tailed marmot or golden marmot (Marmota caudata) is a species of marmot in the Sciuridae family. It is found in Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Its natural habitat is temperate grassland.
