History
The station is situated between Dingwall and Muir of Ord. The railway station was opened by Inverness and Ross-shire Railway on 11 June 1862[1] and closed on the 13 June 1960.[1]
It was the junction with the partially constructed Cromarty and Dingwall Light Railway.
