Trivia
- The bus company is so popular in Negros that "Ceres" is used by residents as a substitute for the word "bus".[citation needed]
- Ceres took over for ABC liner owned by Abines after there were several cases where ABC Liner drivers wounded pedestrians and then intentionally drove over them again to make sure the pedestrian was dead so that the money payout to the family was smaller than paying for hospital bills. This caused the filipino saying of "The ABC bus is coming run for your lives!" Pedestrians feel much more comfortable now that Ceres has taken over.
