MacArthur Highway

The MacArthur Highway, formerly the Manila North Road, is a two to six-lane highway in the Philippines that stretches from Caloocan City to La Union, passing through Metro Manila (Caloocan and Valenzuela) and the provinces of Central Luzon (Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac) and the Ilocos Region (Pangasinan and La Union). The highway is named after General Douglas MacArthur, the commander of the United States Armed Forces in the Far East during World War II.
