Ligament: Median thyrohyoid ligament Latin ligamentum thyrohyoideum medianum Gray's subject #236 1077 From To Dorlands/Elsevier l_09/12493373 The middle thicker part of the thyrohyoid membrane is termed the median thyrohyoid ligament (middle hyothyroid ligament, middle thyrohyoid ligament), its lateral thinner portions are pierced by the superior laryngeal vessels and the internal branch of the superior laryngeal nerve. Its anterior surface is in relation with the Thyreohyoideus, Sternohyoideus, and Omohyoideus, and with the body of the hyoid bone.
