Dr. R. E. McKechnie Elementary School is an elementary school located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The school opened in 1957 and was named after Dr. Robert Edward McKechnie, a surgeon who was the first Senate of the University of British Columbia. [1]

It is located at 7455 Maple Street, near Southwest Marine Drive. As of 2009, the current school principal is Catherine Jamieson.
