The New York Red Riders are a basketball team in the American Basketball Association based in Elmira, New York and set to begin play in 2009-10. Owned by the Chemung County YMCA (with Richard T. Micelotta as executive director), the Red Riders started out as a traveling exhibition team based in the YMCA (where they will play home games) before joining the ABA.

The Red Riders are Elmira's second attempt at a professional basketball team in this decade, following the Elmira Bulldogs (which started life in the ABA as the Corning Bulldogs).
