They are based in Denver, Colorado. They are the first team to join the Rocky Mountain Division, but played as an at-large team competing against teams from the South, Southwest, South Central Division for 2010-11 while three more teams have joined the Rocky Mountain Division for 2011-12. Home games are played on the campus of Green Valley Ranch Elementary School.

2010
Colorado was one of nine teams chosen to play in the Tri-State Showcase. The Kings opened up the 2010 season against the Texas Fuel, and won the franchise's first game, 111-100 to start the year 1-0.[1]
