Desert sand is a color which resembles the color of desert sand. It may be regarded as a deep shade of beige.

In 1998, desert sand was made into a Crayola crayon color. [1][2]

The color shown at right matches[not in citation given] the palest of the three colors in the 3-color Desert Camouflage Uniform of United States armed forces [3], which in 1990 began to replace the 6-color Desert Battle Dress Uniform. [4]
