Nagalpur or Nagalpar is a small village in Kutch district in the state of Gujarat, India. It comes under Anjar taluka.

History
About history of Nagalpar or Nagalpur it is one of the 19 villages established by Kutch Gurjar Kshatriyas or Mistris as they are known in Kutch. These Mistris first moved in to Saurashtra in early 7th century and later a major group entered Kutch in 12th Century & established themselves at Dhaneti. Later from 12th century onwards they moved to settle themselves between Anjar and Bhuj and founded the villages of Anjar, Sinugra, Khambhra, Nagalpar, Khedoi, Madhapar, Hajapar, Kukma, Galpadar, Reha, Vidi, Ratnal, Jambudi, Devaliya, Lovaria, Nagor, Chandiya, Meghpar and Kumbharia.[1] [2][3] [4][5] All the old houses,temples and early infrastructure is built by these Mistri - Gurjar Kshatriya community during 1890-1900. However, majority of old houses with unique architect were destroyed in the earthquake of 26th January, 2001.
Notable Persons
Some of these Mistris made it big during early days of Railways construction by British during 1860-1930 notable among whom were Khimjee Dossa, Gangjee Dossa, Murji Akhai, Varjang Harji,Jetha Teja, Shivjee Bhanjee, Bhanjee Harji, Jairam Jethwa, Bhanu Raghu, Premji Ramji, Raja Vasta, Ranchhod Pancha, Kanji Bhoja Chuhan,Ranchhod Ramji Chauhan, Premji Khimjee Chauhan, Raja Vasta Rathor, Vasta Bhanu Tank. Among whom brothers Khimjee Dossa & Gangjee Dossa Jethwa, Dhanji Ratanji Rathor were among the early enterprenuers to establish Coalliery business in Jharia - Bokaro Coalfields. Dhanji Ratanji Rathor of Nagalpar along with Lira Raja Rathor of Khambhra has built Anjar Boarding House for Students.[6] [7][8][9]
Temples
Thakor Mandir having beautiful carvings at Nagalpar was built by Lira Valji Tank in 1900.
Kuldevi Temples of many clans of these Kutch Gurjar Kshatriya community are also there in this village. For example, Jethwa clan have their Kuldevi Brahmani Mata's temple in village
Mistri Ruda Gova Rathod of Khedoi was also the Gaidher, who constructed in Nagalpar, the beautifully carved Dargah of Hussain Pir Shah also known as the Aga Khani Kubo of Khoja community, which was inaugurated by Hasan Ali Shah, the Aga Khan I him-self. Ruda Gova Rathod of Khedoi started construction in the year 1860 and completed in about five years by 1865 and Roza Mubarak of Hazarat Abul- Fazlil Abbas (a.s.)[10]
