(Gould, 1841)The Speckled Crake (Coturnicops notatus), also called Speckled Rail, is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Falkland Islands, Guyana, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps and pastureland.
