Ridgway, 1885Cozumel Emerald range The Cozumel Emerald (Chlorostilbon forficatus) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is endemic to the Mexican island of Cozumel off the Yucatán Peninsula. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
