Cozaddale is an unincorporated community in southeastern Hamilton Township, Warren County, Ohio, United States. It is about one mile south of Camargo, one mile southeast of Hickory Corner, and two miles west of Pleasant Plain, and three miles north of Goshen, Ohio. It was laid out by John J. Cozad in 1871 (father of Robert Henri), who hoped to prosper from the site's location on the Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad (later the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad). Cozaddale briefly had a post office in the 1870's. It has 3 churches, the largest being Cozaddale Baptist Temple, which is home to the Cozaddale Baptist Academy. Cozaddale also had a small convenient store located near the railroad tracks, which operated under various names, including Jerry's, Junior & Leona's, and the Pop Stop. It currently has a campground named Cozy-Dale Campground, and has a pay fishing lake, Lake Cozy-Dale.

CLEM BEVINS - Hollywood Actor

  • George Terwilleger was born in Cozaddale in 1941, and served as Warren County Commissioner and as Ohio state representative. A bridge in Foster, Ohio, where the Old 3-C Highway crosses the Little Miami River, is named in his honor.
  • Ches Crist was born in 1882 in Cozaddale. He is the only Cozaddale-born native to play professional baseball. He played for the 1906 Philadelphia Phillies, where he played in six games as catcher, but went 0-for-11 in his only stint in the majors.
