Narail Sadar (Bengali: নড়াইল সদর) is an Upazila of Narail District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.

Geography

Narail Sadar is located at 23°10′30″N 89°30′15″E / 23.1750°N 89.5042°E / 23.1750; 89.5042 . It has 44716 units of house hold and total area 381.76 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Narail Sadar has a population of 250725. Males constitute are 51% of the population, and females 49%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 130799. Narail Sadar has an average literacy rate of 36.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[1]
