Nova 93.7 http://www.nova937.com.auNova is a name given to a group of Australian radio stations. The group comprises five stations all owned by DMG Radio Australia, apart from the Perth station, which is a joint venture between DMG and the Australian Radio Network.
Like many radio networks, each station has its own local Breakfast show and day time presenters, with the Drive and Night shifts networked across all stations. Other pre-recorded programmes are often played across the network at various times also.
Nova initially promoted that it 'Sounds Different' by playing a broad mix of contemporary pop, rock, R'n'B and dance music with a promise of 'Never more than two ads in a row'. In 2010, Nova announced that it would move away from their policy of "never more than two ads..." by increasing the number of ads broadcast per hour from 12 to 21 during the peak times of breakfast and drive.

Their newest jingles have been known to sound similar to the Galaxy Network (now Capital FM) in the UK. Their on air 'Love Music' tagline and new 'Fresh 40' chart show shows this, possibly due to some Nova/DMG employees previously working with GCap Media in the UK.
