Broadcast Operations Group

Broadcast Operations Group

Owned by Bill Caralis, Broadcast Operations Group (BOG) operates a number of radio stations in northern New South Wales & southern Queensland, Australia. These are collectively known as the "Super Radio Network". Most stations belong to one of two networks, an over 35's talk based format headed by 2SM (mostly AM stations), and an under 35's music format (mostly FM stations).

Regional Radio Inquiry

The BOG was cited in several instances during a Senate Inquiry into Regional Radio. There had been concerns raised as to loss of localism due to networking of radio stations. Bill Caralis was asked to appear several times at various hearings around the country, but never attended. [http://www.aph.gov.au/house/committee/cita/regional_radio/radioreport.html]
