Boundaries

Following their review into parliamentary representation in Buckinghamshire, the Boundary Commission for England recommended changes to the existing Milton Keynes constituencies.

The Commission decided that there shall continue to be two parliamentary constituencies for Milton Keynes, but these shall be formed on a North/South basis, effectively abolishing the previous arrangement. The new constituency of Milton Keynes South largely replaces Milton Keynes South West

The Borough Council electoral wards used to create Milton Keynes South are - Bletchley and Fenny Stratford, Danesborough, Denbigh, Eaton Manor, Emerson Valley, Furzton, Loughton Park, Stony Stratford, Walton Park, Whaddon,[2]and Woughton.

The other new seat for Milton Keynes is Milton Keynes North.

Future

As part of the Boundary Commission proposals for 2015, it is proposed that 'Bletchley and Fenny Stratford' ward and 'Water Eaton' ward (but not West Bletchley) will be transferred to the Buckingham parliamentary constituency.[3]
