Worthing West is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Boundaries

The constituency covers the western portion of Worthing in West Sussex. Eastern parts of the town are in the Worthing East and Shoreham constituency. It also contains the towns of East Preston and Rustington in the district of Arun.

History

The constituency was created in 1997 when the previous constituency, Worthing was divided in two. Prior to 1945, the territory of this constituency had been contained in the Horsham and Worthing seat.
