The 2010–11 season was Melbourne Heart's inaugural season in the A-League. The club finished eighth on the ladder, a result not reflecting the overall success of their season, after being placed sixth on the ladder for the better part of the season.

Former Australian international John Aloisi was the Heart's top goalscorer, with eight goals, in his final season in professional football.
