Hubbard High School, is a public 4-year high school located in the West Lawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It's part of the Chicago Public School Dist. 299 system. The school is named for Gurdon Saltonstall Hubbard.
Hubbard High School is known for their successful football team. In the late 1990s, Hubbard faced substantial overcrowding. However, recent work, attributed to its Principal, Andrew Manno, has lowered its enrollment.

Improvement
Hubbard was one of 16 schools nation-wide selected by the College Board for inclusion in the EXCELerator School Improvement Model program beginning the 2007-2008 school year. The project was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Hubbard High School has been an IB World School since July 1998. It offers the IB Diploma Programme. The school is state funded. The head of the school is Andrew Manno.
IB Diploma Programme
Authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme since July 1998, the programme is taught in English.
Students at this school usually take IB exams in May.
In the last examination session, students completed the following exams: Biology SL, English A1 HL, History HL, Math.Studies SL, Spanish A HL, Theory Knowl. TK and Visual Arts SL.
School uniforms
Students must wear white shirts and black bottoms. Students may also wear their class shirts or any shirt consisting of a Hubbard club/organization.
