Prosser Career Academy is a public vocational high school in Chicago, Illinois. It is named after Charles Allen Prosser. Prior to the summer of 1998 the school's name was Prosser Vocational High School. The school colors are blue and gold, and their mascot is a falcon. Prosser offers training to its students in one of 12 shop areas. These include Culinary Arts, Auto Body, Graphic Communcations, Graphic Design, and Computer Science among others. It also offers a college prep International Baccalaureate program to a select few students, usually the top 30 of their class.

Prosser Career Academy became an International Baccalaureate World School in July 1999 [http://www.ibo.org/school/001143/] .

Graduates

Wally Kozielski better known as "Freak" is a well known radio DJ in Chicago. He was a part of Mancow's Morning Madhouse for many years. Before that he was a rodie for the rock band Metallica. Currently he is the program director and DJ for WRXQ 100.7 FM (The Southland's Classic Rock) in Chicago.
