She was first elected to the Florida House in 2008.[1] She succeeded her late husband, Stan Mayfield, who served as the District 80 representative from 2000 to 2008.
Representative Mayfield was born in Pensacola, Florida on December 2, 1956. She served as a member of the School Board for Indian River County from 1992 to 1996.
