He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Florida in 1968. In addition, he received his Masters in Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Theology from the Western Baptist Theological Seminary.
He lives in Keystone Heights, Florida with his family.
