China
MalaysiaChina-Malaysia relations (Chinese: 中马关系; Malay Hubungan China-Malaysia) refers to bilateral foreign relations between the two countries, China and Malaysia. China has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur and consulate general in Kuching. Malaysia has an embassy in Beijing and a consulate-general in Guangzhou[1] Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Diplomatic relations were established in 1974.[2]
Diplomatic ties
Following the end of the Cold War, diplomatic foreign relations between China and Malaysia immediately and positively changed. That being said, political and cultural connections between the two nations began to strengthen. Both countries are full members of APEC, and there is a sizeable population of Chinese in Malaysia.
