MalaysiaRomania – Malaysia relations refers to foreign relations between Romania and Malaysia. Romania has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur, while Malaysia has an embassy in Bucharest.
Agreements
The Civil Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Romania and the Government of Malaysia, was done at Kuala Lumpur on 26 November 1982.
Trade links
In 1991 the two countries signed a shipping agreement. At the time, trade between Romania and Malaysia was small, representing only 0.1 percent of Malaysia's exports. The Malaysia-Romania Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement and a trade agreement were also to be signed in 1991.
