Music Theatre of Wichita

Music Theatre of Wichita is the major performing arts company in the city of Wichita. Music Theatre of Wichita has been around since the early seventies and has premiered many shows in the state of Kansas. Many famous stars, including Tad Hilgenbrink and Kristin Chenoweth have performed onstage in productions. Shows are performed at the Century II Convention Hall. Five full-length shows are produced each summer, with each performance running for five days (Wednesday-Sunday).

The 2001 production of Honk! by the Music Theater of Wichita was notable for providing the first American recording of the show. The CD is available through their website. Cast includes Arthur W. Marks as Ugly and Susan Hofflander as Ida.
