David Terrell (born March 13, 1979) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was selected as the eighth pick in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears out of the University of Michigan where he was teammates with the talented backfield of Drew Henson, and Anthony Thomas, and Super Bowl winning quarterback Tom Brady.
High school career
David Terrell attended Huguenot High School in Richmond, Virginia and was a two sport star in High school football and basketball .
Pro career
Terrell was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the eighth overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. He was later cut by the Bears, and he attempted to come back with both the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos. After signing a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos on April 12, 2007, Terrell was cut by the team on August 27, 2007. In August 2009, Terrell tried out for the Kansas City Chiefs, but Amani Toomer was signed instead.
