Aştileu (Hungarian: Esküllő) is a commune in Bihor County, northwestern Romania, close to the border with Hungary. It is composed of four villages: Aştileu, Călăţea, Chistag and Peştere.

The closest town to Aştileu is Aleşd, pretty much in walking distance. The most distinguishing feature is a charming small church.
