County Bihor County Population (2002)[1] 3,021 Time zone EET (UTC+2) - Summer (DST) EEST (UTC+3) Derna is a commune in northeastern Bihor County, Romania, 50 km from the county seat, Oradea and 35 km from Marghita. It borders the communes of Popeşti, Chişlaz, Brusturi and Spinuş. It is composed of five villages: Derna, Dernişoara, Sacalasău, Sacalasău Nou and Tria.
Demographics
The commune has a population of 3,020 people, the majority of whom are Romanians. There is, however, a Hungarian and Slovak minority.
