County Bihor County Population (2002)[1] 3,181 Time zone EET (UTC+2) – Summer (DST) EEST (UTC+3) Sălacea (Hungarian: Szalacs) is a commune in Bihor County, northwestern Romania with a population of 3,096 people. It is composed of two villages, Otomani (Ottomány) and Sălacea. The Ottomány culture, a local middle Bronze Age culture (2100-1700 BC), takes its name from the village of Otomani.
