Windsor Mill

Windsor Mill is an area near Woodlawn that is similar to Milford Mill. Some of the main roads in the area include Windsor Mill Road, Windsor Boulevard, and Rolling Road. Landmarks in this area include Windsor Mill Middle School and Rutherford Business Park.

Rockdale

Rockdale is mostly near Liberty Road and Lord Baltimore Drive to Rolling Road coming off from I-695. Landmarks in this area include schools like Scotts Branch Elementary and Old Court Middle School. Stores and food areas in the area include the Milford Shopping Center (which is on the left-hand side), Giant Food, and Shoppers Food Warehouse.

Roads

Church Lane

Church Lane is a side road parallel to Liberty Road that runs from Milford Mill Road in the Milford Mill area and ends at Liberty Road just past McDonogh Road in Randallstown. Church Lane, which is lined with garden apartments and single-family homes, is often used by motorists as an alternative to the heavy traffic and numerous lights on Liberty Road. In 2006 and 2007, as a result of safety concerns from area residents, a set of traffic calming devices were installed on Church Lane that include 8 speed humps, two islands, and a traffic circle at the intersection with Brenbrook Drive.[3][4]

Washington Avenue

Washington Avenue runs from Milford Mill Road (sharing an intersection with the entrance to Milford Mill Swim Club), crosses Liberty Road, and ends at Castlemoor Road. The road is often used as a shortcut by motorists to travel from the Lochearn area to Sudbrook Park. Milford Mill Academy is located at the corner of Milford Mill Road and Washington Avenue.

Richwood Avenue/Gartside Avenue

Richwood and Gartside Avenue run parallel until Dooman Road, at which point Garside ends. Richwood ends at Castlemoor Road. Another road for motorists is Washington Avenue to Liberty Road (pass Liberty Road is Milford Mill Road which is the end).

Subet Road

Most motorists in the Windsor Mill area use Subet Road to get to Liberty Road, because at most times Washington Avenue to Rolling Road has the heaviest traffic during the evening times, and on weekends. The road starts at Washington Avenue and ends at Milford Mill Road. The road does continue but changes its name to Kimble Road.

Patterson Avenue

Patterson Avenue is a secondary road that starts in Lochearn in Baltimore County at Maryland Route 26 (Liberty Road), and enters Baltimore City after passing Alter Street. From there, it passes the Reisterstown Plaza Metro Subway Station at Wabash Avenue, and continues one more block to Maryland Route 140 (Reistertown Road). The road physically continues thereafter as a dead-end side street known as Bancroft Road.

Lord Baltimore Drive

Lord Baltimore Drive is a mostly commercial road that runs between Liberty Road and Security Boulevard parallel and very close to the Beltway. The connection to Liberty Road was made as part of an early 2000s project to make the interchange between Liberty Road and the Beltway safer [1], but also enabled the road to become an alternative to the Beltway between Liberty and Security when congested. I-695 traffic from nearby I-795 exit passing many communities, and businesses throughout the area, the road crosses Windsor Mill Road, Windsor Boulevard, Tudsbury Road, and Dogwood Road. The road ends at Security Square Mall. Heaviest traffic occurs during the evening hours from Lord Baltimore Drive to Liberty Road heading towards I-695 as a right turn only.
