Wetzel, 1980Chacoan Naked-tailed Armadillo range The Chacoan Naked-tailed Armadillo (Cabassous chacoensis) is a species of armadillo in the Dasypodidae family. It is found in Argentina, Paraguay, and possibly Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.[2]
